Estimator Job Description The Estimator will work closely with operations personnel to provide the most accurate and comprehensive execution of projects.
The Estimator will work with the customer to define the material specified for the project, the amount of material the project will require, labor needs, coordinate conformance testing, consider potential setbacks,estimate the amount of labor necessary for the installation, and identify necessary equipment.
Their duties include communicating with personnel and contractual professionals or vendors, using computer software (AutoCAD LT 2023, Bluebeam 2.

After all the information is compiled the estimator will prepare the official proposal for submittal.
Estimator duties and responsibilities Our Estimator is responsible for interpreting and understanding project plans within several categories of projects which may include liner, and environmental controls.
Some additional duties include:
Preparing project material estimates by gathering specifications, related documents, plan sets, and cost estimates for the product or service Analyzing requirement documents, and project plans to gain a thorough understanding of the project Determining what factors of production will influence the cost of a service or product Actively support the existing sales team, provide suggestions to customers with add-on service/product options, and remain engaged in growing existing accounts Creating labor estimates for any project, preparing take-off's for each job Cultivate and maintain professional working relationships internally, with customers and vendors.
Demonstrate a team oriented attitude, be willing to grow and learn our business and company Managing bids including job changes from vendors and contractors Using bid data to prepare detailed a cost analysis Presenting prepared estimates to management, routinely communicate with team on the timelines of each project Compiling and recording actual costs Attend pre-bid and pre construction meetings along with our operations team All pre job qualifications before job is started (resumes, panel layouts, and manufacturers certs Estimator Qualifications and Skills:
