Director of Talent Development

The Director of Talent Development will lead the design, creation and delivery of high-impact and sustainable training and development programs that support the company's present and future strategic goals and objectives. The Director will lead efforts relating to needs assessment and diagnosis, role and responsibility clarification, leadership and team development, succession planning, coaching and design and implementation of process and performance interventions.
Developing instructor-led training or customized training programs using various solutions and methods such as blended learning, one-on-one coaching, classroom facilitation web conferences, and on-line learning solutions.
Conducting needs assessments and performance analysis to design performance interventions to achieve short, medium-and long-term goals and company objectives.
Consulting with business stakeholders on the organizational design and structure of their departments and facilitating appropriate team development interventions including mentoring and coaching, train-the-trainer approach to increase organizational capacity, buy-in and alignment and a greater return on investment.
Directing the development and deployment of training programs and materials (including on-line); partnering with business stakeholders to develop content and/or manage external vendors and customization of training programs.
Assisting, supporting and monitoring development activities of succession candidates toward goal of developing "ready-now" candidates for all key positions; developing high-potential and successor candidates to meet future talent requirements.
Developing and administering training programs that address functional/technical skills and competencies, compliance and leadership development.
Developing a competency model that embodies the skills and abilities required to execute against the organization's strategic goals.
Providing support to the talent development process and team member professional development; identifying gaps and developing and implementing program enhancements, tools and resources for team member development that support the organization's succession planning objectives and executive development.
Assessing and monitoring the effectiveness of all learning, development and training initiatives and performance interventions against defined metrics; guiding leadership in responding to emerging issues and opportunities, problem solving and dispute resolution.
Consulting on and researching issues relating to engagement, leadership, talent management, and retention within the organization (including execs and senior leaders).
Driving company leadership initiatives to create strategies, developing and executing plans, measuring results and rewarding successes and accomplishments.
Responsible for department management including staffing, training, performance management and career development of associates while monitoring department goals.
Enhancing and managing the company's performance management process, talent review and succession planning, including process design, material design, development and
training; ensuring effective utilization of tools to drive a culture of high performance.
Providing a corporate platform for ensuring meaningful feedback and dialogue about performance and development plans among management and associates.
Staying abreast of organizational development practices, talent development strategies, learning strategies and emerging delivery platforms to meet the needs of a culturally-diverse and geographically-dispersed work force.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or the equivalent work experience.
An MBA or Master's degree in Human Resources, OD, I/O Psychology is preferred.
10+ years' of experience with specific expertise in organizational development roles with extensive experience in developing and delivering training programs, performance and leadership development, talent management, and succession planning
Experience in building/expanding talent management capabilities
Willingness to travel 25% or more depending on business needs

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
