National Accounts Coordinator

This position is responsible for the application and collection of large balance A/R accounts. Strong, direct contact with both stores and customers to resolve application issues is required. The A/R Account Analyst is responsible for keeping the A/R accounts organized by providing any information or documents required by the customers' AP departments. The incumbent is able to make decisions regarding credits, uncollectible invoices, and account freezes on a case by case basis.


Essential Functions:



  • Works with stores and customers to find more productive ways to manage their accounts

  • Applies customers' payments through the A/R system

  • Manages customers; accounts online via their websites (requesting payments, researching

  • invoices)

  • Calls customers who have past due invoices

  • Sends invoices to customer via email and fax

  • Reconciles large accounts that have been mismanaged

  • Composes and/or converts Excel documents for stores and customers

  • Creates and updates Excel documents for Collection Manager

  • Maintains files of the correspondence on each customers' account

  • Assists departments with questions regarding the A/R system

  • Computer Skills: Spreadsheet/Internet Software, Word Processing

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.




Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
